- Observing pain, discomfort, or emergency symptoms
- Following medical reports, prescriptions, and doctor’s instructions
- Updating family members about the patient’s condition
- Contacting the doctor or hospital in case of emergency
- Providing mental support and encouragement to the patient
- Helping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment at home or in the hospital
